This is a key full-time position with Partners for Rural Impact.

Reporting to the Program Manager,the Student Success Navigator (SSN) will provide and integrate programming within their neighborhood school and will serve as the primary liaison with all community partners; ensure partners are trained, understand their role,and implement according to their role. In addition, theSSNwill work to connect students to afull continuum of supports and services including health and wellness, safety, arts and humanities,and college and career planning services.

SSNwill work to ensure the successful integration of all school, community and Promise Neighborhood student services and as suchwill lead a school-level partnership council.

This is a year-round role. The Student Success Navigator will work to achieve theresultthat All Rural Students Succeed.

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of the Promise Neighborhood results and objectives

• Ensure that required documentation and records of services are collected and filed appropriately

• Collaborate with other members of thePNteam to ensure the effective delivery of services along thePNpipeline

• Provide leadership while working collaboratively with the school principal to implement the comprehensive program plan

• Assess needs of students, families, and school and evaluate the impact of thePNprogram on these groups as well as continually modify services to best meet needs

• Serve as liaison with allgrantpartners serving the school and ensure partners are trained, understand their role, and implement according to their role

• Communicate the PNmission and vision to community, parents, staff, and students

• Participate in school committees and lead school-level Partnership Council

• Plan and implement events and services related to arts and humanities, wellness and safety, college and career exploration, and academic enrichment

The Student Success Navigator will be located primarily in Martha Jane Potter Elementary School with local, state, and sometimes national travel required.

This position is designated as an onsite position and requires work to be performed at the assigned work location during Partners for Rural Impact’s (PRI) regular business hours. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm ET. This position may occasionally require work during the early morning, evening, or weekend hours to support events, training, meetings, and business or program needs.

This is a 12-month, year-round position. Employees in this role follow PRI’s work schedule and holiday calendar and are expected to work during periods when the assigned school district is not in session, unless otherwise approved.
