Position: Assistant Professor - FIN - 998541
Location: Northern

Wofford College invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track assistant professor of finance to join its Department of Accounting, Business and Finance starting in Fall 2027.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • teach three undergraduate class sections in each of the fall and spring semesters, as well as a January interim course (3-1-3).
  • advise students,
  • pursue active scholarship embodied in theory or practice,
  • serve on college and departmental committees.

A demonstrated record of superior undergraduate teaching is strongly preferred.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Candidates are expected to have earned a PhD in a relevant field by August 2027.

Candidates with MS/MBA and significant, relevant professional experience will also be considered.

In all cases, degrees must be earned from an accredited institution.
