Active Children Portland Coach-Mentor Application
We hire Coach-Mentors to work with youth during our after-school programming year-round at K-8 sites in Portland-Metro and Salem/Gervais, Oregon.
Coach-Mentor applications are open year-round and we also hire more coaches than we have active sites so that we can create a substitute pool. Please read through the questions carefully. If you do not meet some of the requirements, we will be unable to move forward to the interview process.
We require all Coach-Mentors to pass a background check in order to be placed in youth programming.

Do you live in the Portland-Metro or Salem-Keizer Area in Oregon?
Our programming takes place at K-8 schools across Portland and Salem. We do not have the ability to relocate staff.
Our sites run programming Monday-Thursday between 2:30 - 6:00 pm. Some sites do 2 days a week and some do 4 days. Please select the days that you CAN work between 2:30 and 6:00 pm.
