Position Summary

Base-2 Solutions is seeking a Technical Instructor to support USSOUTHCOM J26 ENHANCED DOMAIN AWARENESS task order. This role involves developing and delivering training on data engineering, geospatial analysis, and open-source intelligence methodologies, with a focus on practical, hands‑on instructional content for technical users.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Possess expert‑level knowledge in data engineering, geospatial analysis, and open‑source intelligence (OSINT) methodologies.
  • Develop and deliver training on the use of Jupyter Notebooks, API integrations, metadata management, and structured data layer development.
  • Demonstrate familiarity with secure data environments, role‑based access controls (RBAC), and cataloging standards.
  • Create and adapt hands‑on instructional content including practical exercises simulating real‑world data processing, analysis, and visualization tasks.
  • Coordinate with the Training Coordinator to align delivery with broader training objectives and Government‑directed priorities.
  • Facilitate documentation, post‑training support, and dynamic engagement with both U.S. and partner nation personnel using strong written and verbal communication skills.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Intelligence Studies, or a related field OR a minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in technical training, curriculum development, or applied instruction.
  • Working knowledge of OSINT methodologies, geospatial data analysis, or intelligence tradecraft, with practical exposure to ESRI ArcGIS, dashboard analytics, Jupyter Notebooks, or other mission‑relevant tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting interagency collaboration, training program evaluation, or working with international or partner‑nation personnel.

  • Bachelor's degree in education, Instructional Design, Intelligence Studies, or a related field.
  • OR Minimum of 5 years of equivalent experience in technical training, curriculum development, or applied instruction.
