SummaryThe Student Care Coordinator / Driver supports the success of students by coordinating medical care services, compliance, and transportation.
This position:
- Serves as an on-call driver for students to access local medical appointments between 9:00am and 5:00pm.
- When not transporting students, this position manages the Magnus health information system, immunizations, and student insurance, including related communications, education, reporting, and insurance claims support.
- Develops relationships with local medical service providers and is knowledgeable about the use of insurance to provide guidance and resource referrals to students as needed.
- Works with Residential Coordinators, coaches, and the Student Support Services Manager to identify student support needs and contribute to program development throughout the school year.
- Promotes health and wellbeing support programs offered through the Student Life and Wholeness Center offices.
- Maintains and promotes the campus-wide Timely Care telehealth service, including communicating available resources and helping students understand how to access services.
