Job Description

Indian River State College is seeking passionate and knowledgeable professionals to join our faculty as an Adjunct Instructor in Psychology. JOB SUMMARY

Preparing, instructing, and grading all class coursework;
Using college and publisher LMS platforms;
Assigning final grades and recording attendance;
Communicating with students in a timely manner.

SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Instructing assigned classes;
  • Grading all quizzes, tests, and written assignments;
  • Assigning final grades and delivering grades and grade justification sheets;
  • Maintaining a safe and effective classroom environment;
  • Responding to student inquiries regarding course content, grading, and other academic concerns;
  • Collaborating with department colleagues as necessary;
  • Completing other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

Required: Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution in Psychology, or a Master’s degree from a regionally accredited institution with a minimum of eighteen (18) graduate hours in Psychology. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written;
