OVERVIEW The University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign is seeking an Assistant Director for International Programs within the College of Fine & Applied Arts. Reporting to the Associate Dean of Academic Programs and working alongside the Senior Associate Director of International Programs, this role supports the development and execution of international education initiatives for students. The position focuses on managing education abroad opportunities, supporting international programs, and advising students interested in study abroad experiences.

The role also involves collaboration with campus and international partners to strengthen education and global engagement across the college.

Key responsibilities
  • Manage the development and execution of semester, summer, and short-term international programs
  • Support education abroad programs for the College of Fine & Applied Arts
  • Coordinate exchange and international programming
  • Advise students on study abroad and global education opportunities
  • Organize pre-departure and re-entry programs for students
  • Collaborate with international and campus partners
  • Support international education events and activities
  • Develop promotional materials for global education initiatives
Requirements
