Substitute Teacher - Berlin, WI

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Deliver lesson plans left by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a positive, orderly, and engaging classroom environment
• Take attendance and manage classroom routines according to school procedures
• Supervise students and foster a safe, respectful learning space
• Build positive relationships with students, staff, and administrators
• Follow all internal Parallel Education policies and procedures, including maintaining schedule availability and adhering to attendance expectations
• Follow all school and district policies, including emergency protocols

The company is looking for:

• Associate Degree or higher (required for licensing)
• Positive, friendly, and professional attitude
• Passion for working with students and supporting education
• Excellent communication skills
• Clean State and Federal background check
• Willingness to complete a drug screening
• Ability to obtain a Wisconsin Substitute Teaching License (guidance and support provided)
• Interview with the Berlin School District may be required

• Competitive pay: $19.00 per hour for daily assignments, $21.00 per hour for long-term assignments
