Saint Louis University, a Catholic, Jesuit institution, dedicated to student learning, research, health care, and service, is seeking applicants to join our dynamic faculty for a full-time non-tenure track faculty appointment as an Academic Fieldwork Coordinator for the Master's in Occupational Therapy Program. This position has an anticipated start date of January 2026 and will have 50% time dedicated to the role as Academic Fieldwork Coordinator.
We are seeking talented candidates to provide clinically focused learning opportunities for students.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach in an area of expertise, engage in scholarship, and provide service to the Department, College, and/or University. Primary academic fieldwork coordinator responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
* Collaboration with faculty to ensure the fieldwork program reflects the sequence and scope of curricular content to design fieldwork experiences strengthening the ties between didactic and fieldwork education
* Matching and assigning students to fieldwork placements and advise students of the overall fieldwork (Level I and Level II) process and program
* Communication with students and fieldwork educators related to student progress and performance during fieldwork experiences
* Representing the Program at various trainings, meetings, conferences, and clinical site visits
The Master’s in Occupational Therapy Program is housed within the Doisy College of Health Sciences (Doisy College.slu.edu). Faculty have access to classrooms and laboratories with state-of-the-art teaching and research technologies. Fieldwork coordination responsibilities are supported by staff in both the department and Dean’s office related to site identification and management of contracts. The Paul

Position Requirements
** Required
* ** Minimum of a master’s degree
* Licensed occupational therapist with at least five years of practice experience
* At least three years of experience as a fieldwork educator for Level I and/or Level II fieldwork and/or instructing students in a classroom or lab environment at the college or university level.
* Currently licensed as an occupational therapist or eligible for licensure in the state of Missouri
* Evidence of current content expertise including clinical education
* Evidence of teaching experience (e.g., course instructor, continuing education, conference presentations)
* Served as a clinical instructor and/or site coordinator of clinical education
