About This ProgramThe National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency's paid college internship, open to undergraduate, graduate and post-graduate students across a wide range of degree fields depending on agency need, with geospatial science, remote sensing, data science, computer science and cartography at the centre of the mission.

A Top Secret/SCI clearance is required and the vetting process can take anywhere from about two months to more than a year, so applicants should apply well ahead. Interns who complete 480 hours and receive a successful evaluation may convert to full-time employment after graduation subject to hiring needs. Note that NGA discontinued its high school internship, Geo-Scholarship and Stokes programmes in 2025;
