PositionSummary
The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time,student employment position with no benefits. The student will assist the Senior Technical Specialist and engineering faculty in various aspects of equipment setup, maintenance, and lab equipment troubleshooting.
Key Responsibilities and Duties- Maintain organization in the Engineering, Physics, and Digital Labs;
- Conduct inventory assessments in Engineering, Physics, and Digital Labs;
- Maintain organization in the STEM Division shop;
- Test software for laboratory instruments;
- Assist engineering students with 3D Printing and Laser cutting equipment; and
- Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications- Academically successful STEM student with some engineering/manufacturing experience and coursework completed;
- Consistent and reliable work habits;
- Demonstrable initiative, abilityto work independently and in a timely manner;
- Problem-solving skills; and
- A willingness to always learn newthings.

- Experience working in a community college or similar environment;
- Demonstrated commitment toworking with students in need.
Salary Range: $19 per hour
