STEM Lab Maintenance Assistant

Locatedin Greater Boston, Mass Bay is a comprehensive, open-access community college,offering associate degrees and certificate programs on three campuses in Wellesley Hills, Framingham, and Ashland, Massachusetts.

The ideal candidate will join a vibrant educational community and have a desire and ability to serve a population of students with various needs and backgrounds. This is a part-time,student employment position with no benefits. The student will assist the Senior Technical Specialist and engineering faculty in various aspects of equipment setup, maintenance, and lab equipment troubleshooting.

• Maintain organization in the Engineering, Physics, and Digital Labs;
• Conduct inventory assessments in Engineering, Physics, and Digital Labs;
• Maintain organization in the STEM Division shop;
• Test software for laboratory instruments;
• Assist engineering students with 3D Printing and Laser cutting equipment; and
• Other duties as assigned.
