SFUSD’s Out-of-School Time (OST) Program offers engaging after-school, summer, and school break programming for Transitional Kindergarten (TK) through 5th grade students. OST teachers support students’ academic enrichment, social-emotional development, and physical well-being by leading structured, developmentally appropriate activities in a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment.

Please note:
During the school year, OST Teacher is a 3.75 hours/day position working with school-aged children during after-school hours. Actual salary is $34, for the part-time position. During the summer and school breaks, OST Teachers may be expected to work full-time for additional pay.

As the Early Education OST Teacher, you will:
- Facilitate daily academic, enrichment, and recreational activities in a classroom setting with indoor and outdoor components
- Provide safe, high-quality, and culturally responsive supervision of students during program hours
- Support students’ social-emotional development, collaboration, and positive behavior using non-punitive strategies
- Plan and implement engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
