The Assistant Director, Academic Resource Center provides leadership and strategic development of the Academic Resource Center’s academic coaching case management system and peer academic support initiatives. This position serves as the point person for the MySuccess Academic Coaching workflow, including referral routing, coaching assignments, alerts, reporting, and database management. This position supervises the Peer Academic Learning Specialists ( PALS ) and the Academic Resource Center graduate students and oversees the Academic Resource Center study tables.
This position leads the assessment and data reporting of academic coaching services, develops communication campaigns, and coordinates support for students on academic probation.
- Serve as the point person for the MySuccess Academic Coaching workflow, with responsibility for the case management technology including workflows, alerts, referral routing, and reporting.
- Check coaching referrals daily, assign coaching appointments to Peer Academic Learning Specialists ( PALS ) and graduate students, and maintain the MySuccess database.
- Coordinate the Academic Resource Center response to academic coaching referrals and provide academic coaching for students on academic probation, including support during the academic censure process.
- Assist the Academic Resource Center Director in the delivery of the MARQ 1030:
Strategies for College Success course.
