Job SummaryThe Fine Art Department at the Jefferson Community and Technical College Downtown Campus has an immediate opening for a part-time Art Instructor. Courses may include Drawing, 2-D Design and ART 100.
Job DutiesGood foundation art teaching skills with the ability to communicate effectively with the student population. Responsible for organizing and implementing course curriculum with successful classroom management. Proficiency with Blackboard learning delivery system.
Minimum QualificationsMaster of Arts degree with 18 graduate hours in studio art with one year college teaching experience
Preferred QualificationsMaster of Fine Arts degree with 3 years college teaching experience and Blackboard certification.
Additional Skills RequestedPhysical Requirements:
Occasional and/or light lifting – limited exposure to disagreeable environmental elements (heat, cold, dirt, chemicals, etc.)
