Learning Teaching Assistant

We are looking for an enthusiastic, caring and highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our dedicated team.

Our school provides a nurturing, inclusive and supportive environment for pupils with severe and complex learning difficulties, and we are seeking someone who can bring energy, creativity and a genuine commitment to helping every pupil achieve their potential.

As an HLTA, you will work closely with teachers and other professionals to support learning, deliver targeted activities and provide high-quality support tailored to individual needs. You will play an important role in promoting pupils' independence, communication, confidence and personal development, helping them to make meaningful progress both in school and beyond.

We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children or young people with additional or complex needs.
• Has a strong understanding of differentiated and personalised learning.
• Is confident supporting learning and leading activities independently.
• Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Is patient, compassionate and resilient, with a positive approach to every pupil.
• Can work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people.
• Has high expectations and genuinely believes that every pupil can achieve and succeed.
