Writing Studio Tutor

The Writing Studio is Looking for a Motivated Studio Tutor

Experienced tutors returning to the Writing Studio will help ESU students learn new strategies for improving their writing. Tutors work with students one-to-one or in small groups, help mentor new tutors, and may visit classes to provide tips on writing. Tutors will work a set schedule throughout each semester and will participate in training and development activities to foster their own professional growth.

• Help ESU students learn new strategies for improving their writing.

• Work set schedule throughout each semester and will participate in training and development activities to foster their own professional growth and help to mentor new tutors.

• Solid writing skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work and interact well with others on a team
• Must have a 3.0 GPA.

$12 - 14.00 Hourly

Must be at least 18 years old and be able to read and write English. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment.
