The College Now program at the Borough of Manhattan Community College (CN) seeks a visionary Assistant Director for Dual Enrollment (DE) to provide strategic oversight and leadership for dual enrollment programs in secondary schools. Under the Director's guidance, the Assistant Director for Dual Enrollment (DE) will oversee an assigned portfolio of dual enrollment and early college high school programs within K16.
The Specialist will create, grow, and support schools committed to early college programs and college readiness outcomes for traditionally underrepresented students in higher education.
The Assistant Director for Dual Enrollment will work with the Director to monitor budgets and manage financial resources. Utilizing data analysis, the Assistant Director will monitor and evaluate program outcomes and drive continuous improvement.
Reporting to the Director of College Now, the Assistant Director for Dual Enrollment responsibilities are as follows:
- Oversight and management of an assigned portfolio of dual enrollment programs within K16 Initiatives, including budgeting, strategy and planning, and staff support.
- Develop and maintain relationships with program partners, including New York City Public Schools (NYCPS) and CUNY campuses, in partnership with College Now and K16 Initiatives senior leadership.
- Ensure programmatic excellence by monitoring and evaluating student achievement, staff performance, financial resource management, and enrollment/participation patterns across all programs.
- Oversee coordination of high school-college partnerships for Dual Enrollment/CUNY Early College schools, including coordination of Campus Liaisons;
- Maintain dual enrollment/early college program databases inclusive of CUNY 1st: related duties include accurate data input; on-time submission of standardized, scheduled reports; on-demand generation of reports on some categories of current operations data; and continuous analysis of program data systems for the purpose of continuous improvement of systems design.
- Coordinate student application/recruitment process and follow up with high schools and students to ensure enrollment.
