The OST Instructional Aide assists in the direct delivery of after-school programming for TK–5 students. The primary objective of this role is to support student learning and development through academic enrichment, skill-building activities, and structured supervision aligned with program and school-day goals.

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Assist certificated and OST staff in implementing lesson plans and enrichment activities, including supporting small groups and reviewing student work
• Supervise and engage students in indoor and outdoor activities, games, and structured learning experiences
• Support the development of positive student behaviors, habits, and social skills using non-punitive strategies
• Assist students in using instructional materials, equipment, and technology in appropriate learning settings
• Monitor assigned areas, including classrooms and play spaces, to ensure safety and adherence to program expectations
• Prepare, organize, and maintain instructional materials, displays, and activity spaces
• Maintain attendance and other program records; support basic clerical requirements as needed to maintain compliance with District, City, or State requests.
