Student Office Assistant

ESU's Business Accelerator and Entrepreneurship Program is searching for a Student Office Assistant

Purpose:

The student will assistthe Business Accelerator/Entrepreneurship Programs, J-1 VISA, Pocono Mountains Keystone Innovation Zone, with activities,programs, competitions community outreach, marketing, and data collection analysis.

• Assistin the planning, preparation, and management of Business Accelerator events and programs such as the ESU Warrior Startup Challenge, and Entrepreneurship Club.
• Communicate and collaborate with other ESU departments, staff, faculty, and external clients to advance the goals and mission of the Business Accelerator.
• Perform office functions including but not limited to, delivering mail, submitting work orders, answering phones, and helping other staff and offices as needed.

• Current ESU Student.
• All Majors are welcomed.
• Organizational skills with the ability to work on multiple projects concurrently.
• Abilityto think critically and creatively.
• Abilityto follow instructions, communicate, and work both independently and as part ofa team.
• Professional writing and communication skills
• Fluent using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, Canva and Adobe

• Hourly Rate $15.00
• Up to 10 hours per week subject to change.

Must be at least 18 years old and have English literacy skills. Employment with ESU is contingent on the selected candidate passing a thorough background check that includes: FBI fingerprinting, PA Child Abuse, and employment.
