- Vancouver, WA 98663## Overview Salary Range $20.00 - $20.00 Hourly Position Type Part Time## Description The Substitute Teacher supports the instructional program by maintaining a safe, orderly, and consistent learning environment in alignment with school policies and teacher-provided plans.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Teach a variety of courses as assigned.
* Abide by school rules, policies, and procedures.
* Communicate effectively with school leadership and other classroom teachers.
* Participate/attend school events when necessary.## Qualifications
* B.A. (or higher)
* Current Washington State Teaching Certificate with an endorsement (or the ability to obtain a certificate)
* Prior experience working with students in an educational setting (or similar)
* Demonstrate patience, flexibility, and strong classroom-management skills
* Ability to facilitate classroom instruction and carry out teacher's outlined lesson plan
* Support the Catholic identity, values, and mission of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic School
* Communicate clearly and professionally
* Work collaboratively with teachers, staff, students, and families
