DescriptionWe are currently looking for aFull Time School Age Enrichment Specialist to join our Area of Child Development team located at the Douglas H. Johnston Building working8:00AM-5:00PM

Monitors the development and implementation of school-age academics and curriculum.
Responsibilities- Develops, revises, and implements curriculum to ensure the delivery of learning objectives
- Researches innovative curriculum with most recent up-to-date learning resources and coordinates the purchase of required curriculum, manipulatives and technology
- Develops and oversees the implementation of comprehensive lesson plans
- Assists in planning classroom engagement activities, arranging stimulating, safe and age-appropriate environments
- Maintains resources, materials and equipment necessary for curriculum implementation by program staff and coordinates training, as required
- Assists in the preparation of individualized learning outcomes
- Assess effectiveness of curriculum resources and deliverables
- Assists in the planning and implementation of monthly program initiatives, special event planning, guest speakers and scheduling of field trips
- Attends field trips and special events as directed
- Assists in the planning and execution of program engagement activities for families and staff
- Attends regular staff meetings, conferences, and parent engagement opportunities
- Ensures the yearly childcare development yearbook submission is completed timely and accurately
- Maintains files, logs, and records
- Serve as a member of the leadership team, providing input on overall strategic direction of the institution and serves on various committees
- Ensures all outcomes and deliverables meet organizational goals, objectives, and quality standards
- Maintains knowledge of and follows all laws, rules, regulations, policies and SOPs for assigned area, e.g. Oklahoma Early Learning Guidelines, Oklahoma Core Competencies, monitoring compliance, accounting principles, etc.
- Treats all applicants and co-workers with dignity and respect
- Obtain 30 hours of early childhood training annually
- Determines needs, seeks positive experiences, and outcomes
- Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
- Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
- Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
- - Maintains a clean, organized work area and ensures a safe environment
- - Maintains and promotes professionalism
- - Punctual and consistent in meeting start time, work schedule, attendance and other assigned work time metrics
- - Adheres to Chickasaw Nation dress code standards
- Maintains knowledge of and follows all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines for assigned area
- Performs all other duties as assigned
- Ability to use all equipment associated with the position including projection equipment, high-capacity printer, and computer systems
- Able to follow instructions, both written and oral
- Able to adhere to all scheduling and attendance requirements
- Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality in all matters
- Resolves conflicts among personnel, projects and schedules
- Must be able to exert analytical and critical thinking skill

- 5 years directly related experience
- Bachelors of Early Childhood
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood, elementary education or directly related field
