Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey, is seeking a Senior Program Coordinator for the Office of Career Exploration and Success. Reporting to the Associate Director for New Student Career Engagement, the Senior Program Coordinator assists in the development of programs that ensure students begin exploring their career interests from day one of their Rutgers University experience. The incumbent supports the Associate Director in overseeing the First‑Year Interest Group Seminars ( FIGS ), one‑credit courses developed and taught by upper‑class students to aid first‑year students in their transition to college and their exploration of an academic path or career interest.

Each fall, the First‑Year Interest Group Seminars ( FIGS ) program enrolls over 1,500 first‑year students in more than 80 course sections. The Senior Program Coordinator assists the Associate Director with the curriculum development and course oversight of the First‑Year Interest Group Seminars ( FIGS ) courses as well as the three
