With an ambitious goal of engaging 100% of students in robust career planning in the next few years, the University is committed to creating services that are scaled, highly evaluated, and focused on the specific needs and interests of MSU Denver students. To that end, successful team members think critically about MSU Denver student demographics and their respective career planning.
The Career Engagement Team works within the Student Success Department of the Classroom to Career Hub to provide robust programs designed to engage all MSU Denver students in career readiness opportunities. The Student Employment Programs Specialist is responsible for management of the university Off-Campus Work Study program as well as planning and implementing programs and services to enhance career readiness of MSU Denver student employees.
This position will serve as the HR staffing lead in the management of the Off-Campus Work Study program at MSU Denver. In addition, this position will implement programs that facilitate career readiness and skill development for MSU Denver’s student employees. This position will also support efforts to ensure that C2 Hub student employees are supported, connected, and prepared for careers after graduation.
