Special Education Instructor

Your Role

Here's what you will be doing:

• Provide academic instruction to students following approved curricula.
• Offer basic direction, instruction, and assistance in designated instructional areas.
• Motivate and counsel students on behavior, training, personal issues, or study habits; collaborate with staff to resolve training-related issues.
• Develop and prepare lessons; recommend curriculum changes and supplemental materials.
• Incorporate workplace language and behavior expectations in the classroom; relate academic skills to career technical training and workplace requirements.
• Regularly review and audit assigned areas for contractual compliance and service effectiveness; prepare related reports.

The company is looking for:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• Valid Idaho teaching certificate and special education certificate.
• Experience with youth and at least one year of instructional experience preferred.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and computer proficiency.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
