Position Overview
Prepare and teach one (1) section of MANA 6931, Topics in Management
-topic is Management of Integrated Health Systems. Course will be taught online.
Course description – Examines the strategic and financial management of integrated healthcare delivery systems. Topics include value-based payment models, risk and quality assessment, healthcare pricing and benefit design, and the management of clinical professionals within complex organizations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Prepare a well-organized syllabus and teaching plan that clearly reflects the course objectives as well as expectations, conduct well-prepared class sessions that effectively deliver the course content and engages students, administer meaningful and relevant assignments, and grade students’ work with an emphasis on student development.
Required Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Masters Degree preferred or substantial progress toward the terminal degree.
Preferred Knowledge,
Skills and Abilities
Teaching experience in the relevant area at the university level or professional training experience strongly preferred.
