About the Role:

The Bluegrass Regional Dual Credit Coordinator plays a pivotal role in facilitating and managing dual credit programs that enable high school students to earn college credits while completing their secondary education. This position requires close collaboration with high schools, colleges, and other educational stakeholders to ensure program alignment, compliance with academic standards, and smooth operational processes. The coordinator will oversee student enrollment, monitor academic progress, and provide guidance to both students and educators to maximize the benefits of dual credit opportunities.

Additionally, the role involves data collection and reporting to support program evaluation and continuous improvement. Ultimately, the coordinator ensures that dual credit initiatives effectively expand access to higher education and promote student success within the Bluegrass region.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience working in educational program coordination, preferably within dual credit or college readiness programs.
• Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in data management and reporting tools.
• Knowledge of secondary and postsecondary education systems and policies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Education, Educational Leadership, Counseling, or a related field.
• Experience working directly with high school and college administrators and faculty.
• Familiarity with state and federal regulations governing dual credit programs.
• Demonstrated success in student advising or academic counseling.
• Experience with grant writing or program funding management.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain partnerships with high schools, colleges, and community organizations to support dual credit program implementation.
• Coordinate student enrollment processes, including eligibility verification, registration, and communication with students and parents.
• Monitor academic progress and provide support or intervention strategies to ensure student success in dual credit courses.
• Organize and conduct informational sessions, workshops, and training for educators, students, and families about dual credit opportunities and requirements.
• Collect, analyze, and report data related to program participation, outcomes, and compliance with institutional and state policies.
• Serve as a liaison between educational institutions to resolve issues and facilitate effective communication.
• Stay informed about changes in educational policies, funding, and best practices related to dual credit programs.
