Location: Northern
Special Education Teacher delivering individualized instruction to students with diverse learning needs in a Chandler, AZ school setting. Responsible for developing IEPs, adapting lessons, and collaborating with staff and families to support student progress. Works on a 36-week contract with competitive hourly pay.
Key Responsibilities:Collaborate with classroom staff to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student needs.
Adapt lessons and teaching strategies to accommodate diverse learning styles and requirements.
Monitor student progress and communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and multidisciplinary teams.
Manage classroom behavior and create a safe, inclusive learning environment.
Utilize assistive technology and specialized resources to support student learning and development.
Bachelor's Degree in Education, Special Education, or an equivalent credential.
State certification in Special Education or relevant licensure in Arizona.
Minimum 1 year experience working in a school setting with special education students.
Strong communication, patience, and collaboration skills.
Background check clearance and compliance with school district policies.
Familiarity with IEPs and experience with diverse learning needs.
