Job Summary/Basic Function

The Tell School of Music at Millersville University invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach Music 112:
Kodály Solfège, Harmony, and Analysis at the undergraduate level. Depending on departmental needs and candidate availability, one to two courses per semester may be available.

Temporary, part-time instructor responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Music.

Position Salary: Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications as well as aligned with the details contained in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Millersville University Promotion Statement

TEACHING AND PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES :

Teaching will be done in a traditional learning environment.

Part-time faculty members shall maintain a prorated number of office hours each week, at a minimum of twenty-five (25) minutes for each workload hour taught, at such days, times and locations as will accommodate the needs of the students.

This position will require in-person instruction on Millersville University’s campus. This position is contingent upon sufficient enrollments in assigned classes.
