Job LocationThe position may require travel among instructional locations within the College’s service area, including Wilkes, Ashe, and Alleghany counties, as well as occasional travel to meetings, professional development activities, or other College-related events. The employee may also be required to work during daytime or evening hours and occasionally on weekends based on instructional schedules and College needs.
Salary GradeSalary Range: $48,629 to $60,000 based on education and experience

Minimum QualificationsMaster’s degree with at least 18 graduate hours in the teaching discipline of Accounting.
Experience teaching college-level communication courses in seated, online, and blended formats is preferred.
Position DescriptionThis is a full-time, 9-month position. The faculty member must instruct assigned courses in accordance with NCCCS curriculum standards and course descriptions in addition to the standards and guidelines set forth by the program accreditation entity. Courses may be scheduled during the day, evening, or on weekends, and in Wilkes Community College’s ( WCC ) service area (Wilkes, Ashe, and/or Alleghany) and at high schools.
