CY Physics Adjunct Pool

Adjunct faculty will primarily teach general education courses (PHYS
101 Physical Science; PHYS
110 Sound, Waves and Light; PHYS
117 Energy), algebra-based introductory physics lectures and labs (PHYS
131 and PHYS
132; Fundamental Physics I and II), and calculus-based introductory physics, combined lecture/lab (PHYS
161 and PHYS
162; Physics I and II).

• The minimum requirement is a Master’s degree in physics.
• Candidate should demonstrate teaching excellence in the courses to be taught.
• Preference will be given to those with experience working with student populations reflective of the diversity and background of ESU students.
