Riverbend’s Montessori Teacher Training Fellowship is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for early career teachers. Fellows are introduced to the world of Montessori education at our toddler through 8th grade school in the Boston Metrowest area. Our beautiful South Natick campus and fellowship house are the perfect setting to launch a meaningful career as a Montessori teacher.
About the Teacher Training Fellowship Two-Year Paid Fellowship- Hands-on Montessori teaching experience

Throughout the two-year fellowship program, participants gain increasing confidence and responsibility as they master the skills of a Montessori educator. Their experience at Riverbend prepares them for a rewarding career in the classroom.
Year One- June

Attend in-person Montessori training classes and complete required coursework. - September through June

Participate in a paid fellowship, working and learning alongside master Montessori teachers.

Celebrate completion of the Fellowship Program and transition into a new school role.
The Fellowship house is adjacent to our satellite nature campus in beautiful South Natick, Massachusetts. The house accommodates three to four Fellows, featuring private bedrooms and shared living and kitchen space in a recently renovated two-story home. It’s an ideal location for new teachers to connect with each other throughout their Fellowship experience.

What is Montessori education?Montessori schools focus on the development of the whole child. Montessori-trained teachers provide an individualized learning experience for each student in multi-age classrooms. Do Fellows need a car?Yes, personal transportation is required for travel to the main campus as well as the Montessori training centers.
