Job Summary/Basic Function
The Department of Intercollegiate Athletics at Millersville University welcomes applications for a Temporary Athletic Trainer position. The athletic trainers provide athletic training services needed by men’s and women’s intercollegiate athletic teams. Actual assignments will depend upon department needs.
The purpose of this posting is to generate a pool of qualified faculty. Applications submitted will be reviewed on an as needed basis based on enrollment. Anyone meeting the qualifications may be contacted for an interview and potentially hired when a need exists. In the event that you are interviewed but not hired, your application will remain in the departments pool of qualified faculty.
A master’s degree plus ten (10) additional hours of graduate credit are required at minimum to be eligible for consideration for tenure.
Minimum qualifications required to be considered for appointment at the rank of Associate include having an earned doctorate and a minimum of five years of full‑time teaching experience (or its equivalent) and scholarship commensurate with this rank.
