Wag! and maxbone are building the next generation of pet brands, bringing together great design, modern culture, and better products and services for pets and their people. We believe pet brands don't have to look like pet brands. We approach everything through a more elevated, contemporary lens: from product and packaging to campaigns, social, retail, and the everyday moments in between.
We're looking for a Product Manager to own the maxbone web experience end to end. maxbone is a direct-to-consumer pet brand built on Shopify, selling freeze-dried dog food subscriptions alongside a curated line of modern pet essentials. The web surface covers both business lines: the subscription funnel where dog parents discover and subscribe to a food plan, and the storefront where they shop accessories and essentials.
You own the web roadmap and communicate the strategy and impact to leadership. Day to day, you draft tickets, approve designs, and run the experiments that tell us what to roll out. This is a hands-on role working directly with engineering, design, and analytics. This role is full-time and in-person 5x a week in our downtown Miami office. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States at the time of hire.
This position is not eligible for current or future employment visa sponsorship.
- Own the food subscription funnel from quiz entry through first delivery for new subscribers
- Reduce churn and cancellations through retention experiments, and reactivation flows
- Find and fix conversion leaks across the quiz, plan selection, and checkout
- Own the product detail pages, cart, and checkout experience across food and essentials
- Run A/B tests to improve AOV, conversion rate, and cross-sell between food and accessories
- Partner with Marketing on landing pages, promotions, and seasonal campaigns
- Maintain a quarterly roadmap broken into weekly sprints
- Draft PRDs and tickets with requirements and acceptance criteria for engineering
- Build and maintain dashboards and own daily and weekly performance reporting
- Use AI tools to draft initial designs and prototypes before looping in the designer
- Communicate performance metrics to leadership including funnel conversion rates, subscription net adds, and churn
- 3+ years of product management experience on a consumer web product
- Experience owning a conversion or subscription funnel
- Experience running A/B tests end to end, including sizing, instrumentation, and ship/revert decisions
- Comfortable working with data, Excel, and basic BI tool proficiency
- Actively use AI and emerging tools to improve workflows and productivity
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
- Strong sense of ownership and eagerness to make an impact across teams
- Ability to work in-person 5x a week in our downtown Miami office
