- Applied Technologies is currently accepting applications for a Part-Time PreK Program Aide for the school year. Candidates must possess, or be willing to obtain, a valid Arizona IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card.
A PreK Aide supports the classroom teacher in delivering quality education to students. A PreK Aide will help with instructional activities, managing classroom behavior, and providing support to students as needed. Additionally, a PreK Aide may assist with administrative tasks and communication with parents, contributing to a collaborative and effective educational setting.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Assist the classroom teacher with lesson planning and implementation.
- Reinforce learning concepts and provide additional assistance as needed.
- Help maintain a positive and orderly environment.
- Help administer tests and assessments; support the teacher in grading assignments and providing feedback.
- Provide appropriate toileting and diapering support based on individual child needs while maintaining cleanliness, safety, and licensing standards.
- Observe and report on student progress, behavior, and engagement.
- Support communication with parents and caregivers regarding student progress and any concerns.
- Help keep the classroom clean and organized, ensuring materials and supplies are readily available.
- Encourage student participation.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid Arizona Fingerprint Card
- Current immunizations & TB test
- CPR/First Aid Certification
- Food handler’s card
