* What You’ll Do:

**
* ** Empower & Educate:
** Design and deliver creative, student-centered lessons using thematic units that build confidence, independence, and a strong sense of self-worth.
* ** Lead the IEP Process:
** Serve as Case Manager for your caseload, facilitating IEP meetings and tracking growth through regular progress reporting.
* ** Guide & Mentor Support Staff:
** Lead and direct your classroom support team—including Instructional Aides and Educational/Direct Support Professionals (ESPs/DSPs)—to create a unified learning environment.
* ** Collaborate for Student Success:
** Partner closely with clinical, behavioral, and interdisciplinary teams to implement Functional Behavior Assessments (FBAs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
* ** Adapt & Innovate:
** Stay flexible in adapting teaching strategies to meet evolving student needs using supportive, agency-approved care and intervention techniques  #

* What We’re Looking For:

* Education:

** Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Elementary/Secondary Education, Human Services, or a related field (or anticipated graduation date).
* ** Certification:
** State Teaching Certification in Special Education (or eligible for alternative/provisional licensure).
* *
* Skills:

** Strong communication, empathy, team leadership, and a commitment to trauma-informed, student-centered care.
* ** Mindset:
** Growth-oriented, adaptable, and eager to collaborate across multidisciplinary teams.  #
