Location: Northern

The University of North Alabama invites applications for adjunct (part-time) teaching positions expected to be available in the area of Public History. Persons holding adjunct teaching positions normally teach three to six credit hours or nine contact hours per semester. Payment for adjunct teaching is on a standardized university scale according to credit or contact hours taught.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a master's degree in history or a related field is required.
  • Must have 18 graduate hours in the desired teaching discipline.
  • Master's program will require a terminal degree.

Adjuncts are typically paid $800/credit hour or $2,400 per 3-credit course however, some differences may occur based on credit/contact hours taught, and the college/department in which you will teach.
