Education ​/ Teaching Interns, Seasonal ​/ Summer

Interviews will be held via Zoom. PFEW staff will reach out to prospective interns through email to schedule a date and time to meet. Final decisions will be made by late March. We will notify you either way.

Work with the PFEW Staff in preparing for and running the 5 PFEW sessions. Assist in assembling student folios, inventory control, data entry, assisting volunteers and setting up for daily activities. During PFEW, the workday can vary from 6:45 a.m. – 10:30 p.m. of which you will be assigned a designated shift during our workday.

• PFEW graduate
• Ability to handle multiple tasks
• Lift 20-50lbs
• Work well with others and in a team setting
• Able to work the entire length of the program

You must have graduated from PFEW to be able to apply to be an intern.

• Hourly Rate - $12 per hour for first year
• Guaranteed 40 hours per week, with a chance for overtime
• Room and board are provided

• Live in air-conditioned apartments (separate from student dorms) on the Lycoming and Penn College campuses

• MUST be available to work at PFEW full-time starting June 22nd thru July 31st (no exceptions)
• Help set up for each event, speaker, and activity
• Maintain staff and volunteer rooms
• Run errands, organize spaces and photograph events
• Inventory and keep track of supply needs
• Help facilitate certain weekly activites and answer questions
• Work through task checklists at a fast but caring pace
• Be ready to work when asked
• Be on time, be responsible and be respectful
