Position will manage day‑to‑day corrosion control activities for an assigned area, including cathodic protection, data collection, analysis, and the implementation of corrective actions and repairs. It will maintain computerized corrosion and compliance documentation, ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, and manage data supporting corrosion control programs.
Responsibilities include:
- Monitor and maintain corrosion control systems and cathodic protection.
- Collect and analyze corrosion data and reports.
- Develop and implement corrective actions and repairs.
- Proactively identify corrosion risks and recommend alternatives or optimized solutions in coordination with the Regional Corrosion Leader.
- Complete Operator Qualification (OQ) tasks for the corrosion program and selected pipeline operation tasks.
- Research new technologies and best practices to increase business efficiency.
- Present corrosion scenario information to appropriate asset owners regularly.
- Inspect construction corrosion projects and assist other areas as required.
7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. weekdays; subject to occasional call‑out and schedule adjustments as necessary.
Location and TravelPrimary responsibility will include the Midland pipeline/compressor station assets. The successful candidate will report to the Midland location and reside within 30 miles of that location. Geographical responsibilities may be adjusted to better manage workload.
Requirements- Excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
- Strong critical thinking, problem solving, prioritization, and scheduling capabilities.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to read, comprehend, and follow company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
- Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. for a minimum of 50 feet; operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns; work alone in extreme weather conditions including hot, cold, muddy, and wet environments.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate all‑terrain vehicles.
- Strong commitment to personal and team safety.
- High school diploma required.
- Drug‑free workplace: pre‑employment drug & substance abuse testing required.

- Associates degree in corrosion or related field
