Associate Field Technician​/Field Technician​/Sr. Field Technician

The Associate/Field Technician/Sr. Field Technician will be responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of a natural gas compressor station and pipeline system at the Hanson, KY compressor station to ensure safe, reliable product flow and full regulatory compliance.

• Operate the compressor station on a rotating schedule and respond to callouts during assigned operating weeks.
• Participate in an area‑wide on‑call rotation for emergency or abnormal operating conditions.
• Identify and report abnormal or unsafe conditions; complete accident and near‑miss reporting.
• Support emergency response efforts and perform regulatory compliance activities.
• Execute operations, maintenance and repair procedures in accordance with DOT regulations, industry standards, manufacturer specifications and company policies related to facility equipment and appurtenances.
• Handle natural gas‑related reciprocating or turbine compression equipment, pipeline network tasks, support construction activities, and perform preventive maintenance and regulated‑compliance inspections (meter stations, corrosion control systems, valves, leak surveys, right‑of‑way areas).
• Manage facility encroachment activities such as pipe locates, excavations and inspections.

• Must reside within 30 miles of the Hanson, KY compressor station.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate an all‑terrain vehicle.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
• Strong critical‑thinking and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to prioritize and schedule multiple projects.
• Proficiency with Microsoft programs and ability to read, comprehend and follow company procedures and manufacturer guidelines.
• Physical ability to lift and carry 50 lbs for a minimum of 50 feet, operate valve control wheels with a minimum of 50 turns and work alone in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, muddy, wet).
• Strong commitment to personal and team safety.

Required education: High School Diploma

Preferred education: Technical school or college

Normal work hours are 7:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. weekdays, subject to change. The position is also subject to occasional call‑outs and schedule adjustments as necessary.
