This position is responsible for the safe and efficient operation and maintenance of all power plant equipment and assist with maintenance tasks assigned. Key accountabilities include ensuring that the powerhouse assets are operated in a safe, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner, participating in company safety programs and policies, performing inspections, water analysis, and troubleshooting, monitoring of operating parameters, and performing scheduled and un-scheduled plant maintenance.
Minimum education and experience requirements include a high school diploma or equivalent and four years' experience in power plant operations. Other requirements include the ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English, perform basic mathematical calculations, and meet the physical demands and working conditions of the job.
