Role Overview for Sr. Service Technician

Wondering what your day-to-day could look like as our new Sr. Service Technician? In this role, you’ll play an integral part of the service team, primarily responsible for commissioning and performing preventative and corrective maintenance on Sol Bank Storage Power Block (SPB). This role also involves fulfilling obligations under Long Term Service Agreements (LTSA’s) for Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects.

The successful candidate must be willing to travel and perform tasks at various project sites throughout the US. Experience with BESS or renewable power generation equipment in a service environment is required. Whilst you’re working in field services, your work will directly impact our mission to create a cleaner, brighter future. We’re looking for someone who’s ready to roll up their sleeves, share your ideas, and make a real difference—every single day.

What

You’ll Be Doing as a Sr. Service Technician

Commission CSI Energy Storage’s Sol Bank Storage Power Block
Perform preventative and corrective maintenance of SPBs to adhere to warranty requirements
Manage obligations for BESS equipment under LTSA’s, which may include:
Energy Storage Cabinets (ESC’s)
Power Conversion Stations (PCS)
Ring Main Units (RMU’s) / Switchgear Transformers
SCADA and networking devices
Provide onsite diagnostic, troubleshooting, and hands‑on support to maintain equipment and meet availability and capacity guarantees
Oversee and supervise sub‑contractors on site when required
Assist in developing standard operating procedures and processes
Complete work order documentation in a timely manner
Ensure accuracy of spare parts inventory
Perform proper Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) and switching procedures as needed
Support client training during commissioning
Adhere to all health and safety rules and policies
Complete other duties and projects as assigned
