Compensation

The salary for this role is $100,000-$125,000. This is the range that we in good faith anticipate relying on when setting wages for this position. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in New York. This salary range may also be modified in the future.

About the Role:

LS Power is seeking Analysts to join a formal rotational development program designed for early-career professionals who are interested in building a broad foundation across the energy infrastructure industry. The program will provide hands-on experience across several core areas of LS Power’s business, including Private Equity, Energy Marketing & Trading, and Asset Management of our existing power plants and portfolios, with potential for exposure to other parts of the business as well.

The program is designed to help participants develop a holistic understanding of LS Power’s business, how our teams work together, and where they can contribute most effectively over time. Participants will be based in New York City and will gain exposure to cross-functional work, commercial and analytical decision-making, asset-level strategy, and broader energy infrastructure investment and operations. Analysts will rotate through three business areas over an 18–month period, with each rotation lasting six months.

Following completion of the program, Analysts will be placed into a long-term role in one of the rotational departments based on business needs, demonstrated performance, participant interests, and where they are best positioned to add value across the organization.
