As a member of our Customer Excellence Team, you will serve as a post-sale liaison between customers and our sales or engineering teams to educate, operate, and maintain our aviation refuelers. This role provides phone support and some onsite location support, requiring about 30% travel, assisting customers with trouble-shooting diagnostics, maintenance, warranty repairs on Ramp master’s equipment, fueling systems, and integrated components.
Daily responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Technical/diagnostic support over phone and at customer locations
- Fueling system
- Fueling system electrical
- CANbus network
- Air valves
- Hydraulic valves
- Air brakes
- Diesel engine and transmission codes
- Perform pre-delivery quality control inspections of finished Ramp master products
- Conduct classroom instruction to mechanics on maintaining and diagnosing our systems
Ramp master will provide on-the-job training and professional development. This is a great opportunity to travel and meet a diversity of people in the highly desirable aviation industry. This role is based at our headquarters in Coatesville, PA, which has easy access to Philadelphia and Delaware counties.
Job Requirements- Mechanical aptitude with experience
- Mechanical and electrical diagnostic skills with emphasis on automotive environment
- Strong analytical skills to solve problems, make critical decisions, and see them through to a positive result
- Integrity, honesty, professional demeanor and etiquette on phone and in-person
- About 30% domestic travel and occasional international travel
- Computer skills using Microsoft Office products and ability to learn new software
- Strong interest in continuous learning and growth, adapt to evolving work environment
- Work both independently and in collaboration with a team
- Valid Driver’s License and Passport required
- Ability to clear background checks for airports and military locations
- Previous experience in manufacturing or technical customer-service is preferred
- Office hours 8 am - 4:30 pm
