Overview
Our client, a leading advanced manufacturing and automation technology innovator, is seeking a CNC Controls Engineer to join their team. As a CNC Controls Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting Controls, Automation, and Machine Development teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent analytical ability, and clear technical communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: CNC Controls Engineer
Location: Hebron, Kentucky
Pay Range: Based on experience ($29-$36)
- Design, develop, and commission CNC control systems using Siemens SINUMERIK ONE.
- Configure/program CNC machines including PLC/NC integration, drive tuning, axis control, and spindle functionality.
- Develop custom CNC applications, extensions, and HMIs using C, C++, and
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware/software CNC control issues.
- Integrate CNC systems with external automation, robotics, and manufacturing systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience).
- 5+ years of CNC controls engineering experience.
- Strong, hands-on experience with Siemens SINUMERIK ONE CNC platforms.
- Advanced programming skills in C / C++ and
- Experience commissioning, troubleshooting, and optimizing CNC machinery.
