Lab Technician

The lab technician will work with a fume hood to mix chemicals for titration tests. The role involves pulling samples from CNC machines for quality testing in the lab. Familiarity with ERP systems is preferred, as is computer experience, particularly with Word and Excel. Experience in chemical mixing is a plus.

Responsibilities

+ Mix chemicals for titration tests using a fume hood.

+ Pull samples from CNC machines for quality testing in the lab.

+ Utilize ERP systems for managing laboratory data.

+ Perform quality assurance and control testing.

+ Assist in maintaining and organizing lab equipment and materials.

+ Be flexible in filling scheduling gaps when other lab technicians are unavailable.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in chemistry, whether through college courses or work experience.

+ Proficiency in laboratory and quality assurance practices.

+ Computer skills, including Word, Excel, and ERP systems.

Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in chemical mixing.

+ Willingness to adapt to different work schedules.

Work Environment

The work environment includes both a hot, dirty, and loud manufacturing floor and a climate-controlled, clean laboratory. The position follows a 2x2x3 schedule from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM. Employees enjoy a monthly lunch and benefit from having many days off due to the schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Eminence, KY.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $24.00/hr.
