Senior/Lead CFD Engineer
AVL Italia S.p.A. offers a job in Italy (IT) as Senior/Lead CFD Engineer. As a Senior/Lead CFD Engineer, you will contribute to the development and optimization of advanced motor sport systems. You will play a key role in simulation-driven development activities, technical decision-making, cross-functional collaboration and project execution, supporting the delivery of efficient and reliable engineering solutions under highly demanding performance and timing constraints.
Your responsibilities include:
- Contribute to the development and delivery of advanced engineering solutions within a high-performance, innovation-driven environment.
- Lead and support end-to-end engineering activities, from concept definition through validation and optimization phases.
- Apply simulation-driven methodologies to enhance system performance, efficiency, and reliability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with multidisciplinary teams (e.g., design, testing, manufacturing, and project management) to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- Drive continuous improvement of engineering processes, workflows, and methodologies.
- Analyze data from simulations and experimental activities to support technical decisions and performance improvements.
- Coordinate technical priorities and activities across projects, ensuring delivery within demanding timelines.
- Support problem-solving initiatives, including root-cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
- Contribute to innovation initiatives and the adoption of new technologies and approaches.
