The Department of Transportation and Public Facilities (DOT&PF), Southcoast Region Highways and Aviation, is looking for a Maintenance and Operations Specialist in Juneau or Wrangell to help us Keep Alaska Moving!

Pay is based on the location of the selected applicant; salaries will be discussed at the time of the interview.

Wrangell: $44.49 hourly (OT Eligible) Juneau: $46.71 hourly (OT Eligible)

What you will be doing:

Under the general direction of the Regional Maintenance Manager, this position develops and administers the Region`s M&O related state and federal capital improvement programs, including deferred maintenance projects completed by contract and force account.

The Regional Maintenance & Operations Specialist contributes to DOT's mission to keep Alaska moving through service and infrastructure through the oversight of multiple construction contracts, managing region-wide equipment rentals, administering capital improvement projects, and perform similar duties in support of the Regional Maintenance and Operations Manager.
