Description:
Assist Manufacturing Engineers with all aspects of their daily routines.
- PPAP Project Support
- Conduct troubleshooting studies for machinery and quality issues
- Time Studies and Process Cycle Time Improvements
- Document Preparation and design (Work Standards, Control Plans, Process Documentation)
- OEE & Process Standards
- Machining Capability Improvements
- Reduce process variation
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
- Ability to reliably commute our Bellwood, IL plant (not remote)
- Experience showing mechanical aptitude a plus
- Excellent communication skills required - oral and written
- Ability to drive for results is essential
- Ability to do logical problem solving
- Basic understanding of engineering principles
- Willingness and desire to learn.
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Computer literacy is necessary
- Time Management Skills
Pay Range: $21.89 - $29.86
ADDITIONAL COMMENTS:- Optional 401k available
- Flexible Scheduling

- 8D project studies
- Documentation updates (system & floor)
- SPC studies
- Plant floor layout design
- Time Studies and Process Cycle Time Improvements
- Redesign machine components
- Document Preparation and design (Work Standards, Control Plans, Process Documentation)
- Gaging - CPK Studies
- OEE & Process Standards
- Machining Capability Improvements
- Tolerances
- Reduce process variation
- Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or related field with a minimum GPA of 2.5/4.0.
- Ability to reliably commute our Bellwood, IL plant (not remote)
