Your Impact

• Support the development and implementation of market growth strategies for water and wastewater treatment consulting services.
• Assist in pursuing and securing new business opportunities and projects across multiple states.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, regulatory bodies, and industry stakeholders.
• Oversee the planning, design, and delivery of water and wastewater projects, ensuring quality, budget, and schedule requirements are met.
• Provide specialist consulting support, including feasibility studies, process improvement, and regulatory compliance guidance.
• Represent the organization at industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to strengthen market presence and professional credibility.
• Build and lead multidisciplinary teams of engineers, scientists, and project managers while promoting excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal departments and teams to leverage cross-functional expertise and resources.
• Mentor team members and support their professional growth and development.
• Stay updated on the latest techniques and developments in water resources engineering.
• Work with professionals from different disciplines to deliver future-ready solutions for clients.
• Make responsible and ethical decisions regarding company resources, funds, and conduct while following WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies.
• Perform additional duties as required by business needs.

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil, Environmental, or Chemical Engineering, preferably with a focus on Water Resources or a closely related field.
• 12+ years of relevant post-education experience in environmental consulting, with a focus on water and wastewater treatment.
• Professional Engineer license required; multi-state licensure is preferred.
• Strong expertise in water resources engineering principles, methods, and practices, and their application to environmental and project-related challenges.
• Strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations, compliance requirements, and record-keeping practices.
• Advanced ability to perform technical computations and engineering calculations, interpret plans and specifications, and compare findings against applicable regulations.
• Demonstrated experience conducting Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments in line with ASTM guidelines and industry standards.
• Experience planning and conducting inspections and investigations related to facility or structure design and construction, applying relevant regulations and policies.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong self-leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively and professionally with clients, regulators, project managers, and employees across all levels.
• Ability to work independently while providing guidance and leadership to mid- and senior-level team or project members, with strict adherence to QA/QC standards.
• Proficiency in technical writing, office automation tools, communication software, mathematical principles, predictive models, and related technical tools.
• Experience reviewing complex technical documents and preparing high-quality technical deliverables and plans.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret testing results, analyze data, and develop practical, cost-effective, and logical solutions.
• Proven commitment to workplace safety and compliance with WSP’s health, safety, drug/alcohol, and harassment policies.
• Flexibility to work across varied schedules based on business needs, prioritize responsibilities effectively, and adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to travel out of state occasionally, depending on project requirements.

• Master’s degree in Engineering.
