Water Resources Engineer Experienced Designer

What you'll do:- Prepare construction plans and engineering designs for stormwater management, drainage, flood-control, and water resources projects
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analyses to support project planning and design
- Develop stormwater management reports, drainage studies, and supporting technical documentation
- Assist with the preparation of permit applications and coordination with regulatory agencies
- Utilize Civil 3D and water resources modeling software to develop and refine project designs
- Coordinate regularly with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams throughout project delivery
- Lead and coordinate design activities, including assigning tasks and monitoring progress of team members
- Support project execution to meet scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- EIT certification required; PE license strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in water resources engineering, hydrologic and hydraulic analysis, and stormwater design
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D software applications
- Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and complete assignments on schedule - Client-service mindset with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Ability to lead a design team, delegate responsibilities, and track project progress
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
